Kiku and Sake

September, or the Long Month, where the nights are longer and the moon is fuller. September is represented by the chrysanthemum blossoms, the symbol for longevity. It's tradition to sprinkle chrysanthemum petals in one's sake and drink them as a way to ensure long life and happiness.
